Case 5 History ---- The patient is a 58-year-old female presenting with a Morton neuroma of the left foot. Operative procedure: Second and third webspace Morton's neuroma excision and intermetatarsal ligament release. ---- 5A1 The surgical specimen is typical of “Morton neuroma” which does not resemble the typical traumatic neuroma with mini-fascicles, rather it consists of hyalinized nerves, stroma and vasculature with perineurial fibrosis.
