Case 1 History ---- The patient is a 16 year old male with right sciatic nerve traumatic injury 6 weeks prior to this biopsy resulting in Wallerian degeneration. Operative procedure: Resection with cadaver transplant. ---- 1A1 The field shows complete degeneration of all axons with early regeneration. (H&E)
