Case 7 History ---- The patient is a 21-year-old woman with 6-week history of progressive weakness. Autoimmune workup was mostly negative. EMG showed possible reversible conduction failure with variable secondary axonal loss/nodopathy which is the leading clinical diagnosis. Operative procedure: Left anterior interosseous nerve biopsy; left pronator quadratus muscle biopsy. ---- 7A1,2 These teased fiber preparations from two other patients show myelin ovoids (“digestion chambers”).
