Case 9 History ---- The patient is a 39-year-old female with a history of right middle cerebral artery aneurysm complicated by epilepsy who presents with progressive, ascending weakness resulting in acute to subacute flaccid quadriparesis with electrodiagnostic studies consistent with acute axonal sensory motor neuropathy. Laboratory workup was otherwise negative. ---- 9A1-4 Extensive axonal degeneration is shown. (H&E)
