Histories are short and focus on the individual traumatic events, when known. ---- Case 1 History ---- The patient was an 86yo male who fell, hit the back of his head and immediately became poorly responsive. Head CT scan on 9/18 at an outside hospital revealed subarachnoid and intraparenchymal hemorrhage in the frontal lobes bilaterally. He was subsequently neurologically unchanged from the time of admission and a gastrostomy tube was placed on 10/9. His subsequent course culminated in his death one month later when he was found apneic and pulseless. ---- At autopsy the weight of the unfixed brain was 1340g. ---- 1A1A Subdural blood clots are noted over the right parieto-occipital lobes measuring 5x3x3 cm in aggregate.
