Case 24 History ---- The patient is a 22 year old female with history of seizures and a right frontal AVM who presented in status epilepticus. ---- 24A-D Routinely H&E stained sections show a mixture of abnormal vessels including hybrid forms with features of arteries and veins which are highlighted by trichrome (24B1,2), smooth muscle (24C1,2, SMA IHC) and elastin stains (24D, VVG).
