2A3,4 In the right parieto-occipito-temporal region, there is a 7 x 6 x 4 cm vascular malformation composed of multiple tortuous vascular channels of varying sizes and thicknesses extending from the leptomeninges, through the gray and white matter to the ventricular system. The leptomeningeal draining vessels show marked tortuosity and are significantly dilated and thickened in the region of the right occipital lobe which shows local subarachnoid hemorrhage. The superior sagittal sinus (not shown) was patent.
