Case 33 History ---- The patient is a 52 year old man status post episodes of left sided numbness followed by fatigue. Workup revealed a right frontal lobe AVM. He is status post two embolization procedures in preparation for surgery. Operative procedure: Craniotomy for removal of vascular malformation and AVM repair. ---- 33A1 A typical AVM with large tortuous vessels and intercalated gliotic brain parenchyma.
