6A0 Case 6 History
Case 6 History ---- The patient was a 63 year old woman who presented with ataxia, fatigue, hearing difficulties, and cranial nerve palsies with diplopia. The patient had been treated with steroids, but did not respond and neurologic dysfunction progressed for 1-2 months. Imaging studies revealed multiple cerebral lesions, felt to be most consistent with inflammatory or ischemic disease, which have similarly progressed. Angiography was negative. Biopsy of one of the lesions was performed.
