12A6,7 Hemorrhagic casts extend the entire length of·the right lateral ventricle expanding the occipital and temporal horns particularly. The unci are softened bilaterally and there is evidence of brainstem compression hemorrhages involving the midbrain. The hemorrhages extend higher into the thalamus as well as the brain stem but likely reflect an extension of brainstem compression pathogenesis.
