18A1-3 The unfixed brain weighs 1200g with severe atherosclerosis in the circle of Willis. There is significant subarachnoid hemorrhage. Subsequent increase in intracranial pressure lead to uncal herniations (arrowheads, 18A2). The aneurysm (arrow, 18A3) is difficult to see without dissection.
