Coronal sections of the cerebral hemispheres reveal multiple focal lesions in the right frontal, parietal, temporal, occipital lobes and the left occipital lobe. The largest one (approximately 12.0x8.0 cm) is in the inferior portion of the right frontal lobe extending to the right basal ganglia. The ventricular system has a distorted shape with a slight midline shift to the right side.
