Case 2 History ---- This 80-year-old female had a medical history significant for polycythemia, left breast cancer with mastectomy 22 years prior, hypertension, and osteoporosis with compression fracture in 1995. At autopsy she received a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, argyrophilic grain disease, and mild amyloid (“congophilic”) angiopathy. ---- 2A1-3 Several magnifications and orientations of an incidental intact aneurysm (diameter 0.8 cm) which arose at the bifurcation of the basilar and posterior cerebral arteries.
