Case 27 History ---- The patient is an eight year old boy with multiple cavernous angiomas in his cerebral hemispheres. Operative procedure: Craniotomy for excision of left frontal lesion. ---- 27A1-4 An MRI series showed a lesion of variable intensity on TIRM (27A1), hyperintensity on T1 without contrast (27A2), multiple vascular channels on T1-weighted examination with contrast (27C) and variegated appearance on T2-weighted exam with contrast.
