2A1,2 Preoperative MRI exam demonstrates a brainstem CA by FLAIR (arrow, 2A1) and T2 weighted examination without contrast (2A2). Note again the ferruginous penumbra around the T2-weighted scan corresponds to hemosiderin deposition in the adjacent brain tissue.
