Case 16 History ---- This patient is a 93 year old woman with a history of gradually progressive decline and occasional small strokes which affected her walking and her speech. At death from pneumonia, she required total care (CDR 3). ---- At autopsy her fresh brain weighed 1300 g. In the more recent NIA-AA staging system she was A3B3C3 (High likelihood that her dementia was due to DAT), Cerebral amyloid angiopathy was generally mild generally but focally pronounced
