Case 4 Denouement ---- In case 4 numerous clusters of small blood vessels with the well-formed architecture of a capillary hemangioma are embedded in brain parenchyma arranged in nests separated by islands of gliotic cerebellar tissue without evidence of prior hemorrhage. Thus, these findings are different from typical CNS parenchymal vascular malformations and capillary hemangioma. We formally diagnosed this mass as a vascular malformation/capillary hemangioma.
