6B3-5 Sections of the re-resected hemangioma show trabecular bone whose marrow space contains numerous vessels of varying caliber. Most are dilated and thin walled but some have thicker more epithelioid cells. The trabecular bone in the involved areas shows actively regenerating elements lined by osteoblasts.
