At autopsy, a rupture of an ACA aneurysm was found which had penetrated the right gyrus rectus and produced a large intraventricular hemorrhage and accompanying edema with a small amount of subarachnoid hemorrhage near its origination point. The unci are minimally grooved on exterior examination.
