2A3,4 A blood clot was found in the right lateral ventricle and hemorrhagic casts extended the entire length of the right lateral ventricle expanding the occipital and temporal horns particularly resulting in acute hydrocephalus bilaterally and uncal herniation, left greater than right. It is not unusual for Duret hemorrhages to extend into the thalamus.
