Case 2 History ---- This baby was the product of a 42-43 week gestation in a 23 year old gravida 1 female who had an uncomplicated pregnancy and labor. The patient was born in distress with APGAR scores of zero at 1 minute and 1 at 5 minutes. The patient was noted to be hydrocephalic at birth and died within a few hours after birth.
