Case 2 History ---- This 4 year old male was born at 40 weeks to a hypothyroid mother with polyhydramnios. He had multiple abnormalities including abnormal growth and motor development, mental deficiency, microphthalmia and microcornia, micrognathia, a pharyngeal web, club feet and a normal karyotype. The immediate cause of death was pulmonary edema. ---- 2A1,2 The left lateral surfaces of the hemispheres show a large porencephalic defect with surrounding radial cortical gyri.
