2A1,2 Mottled marbling of the thalamus in this case is not accompanied by other white matter directed pathology with the exception of discoloration of the periventricular white matter. The size of the corpus callosum is well maintained. The hippocampi are both atrophic, suggesting a possible prominent additional contribution of seizure disorder.
