1A2 Multicystic encephalopathy (Case 1) 2
1A2,3 The ventral aspect of the brain seen in unfixed brain (1A2) and following fixation (1A3) shows some preservation of parts of the ventral orbital and temporal lobes. The brainstem and much of the cerebellum are well preserved. In this case the brain has been appropriately constructed with secondary superimposition of hypoxia/ischemia.
