Case 13 ---- The patient is a 50 year old woman with left hemiplegia and a large MCA infarct seen on a CT scan. The patient showed symptomatic herniation due to the increased edema resulting in a 1.5 cm midline shift to the left. Operative procedure: Decompressive craniotomy with right fronto-temporal excision
