15A4,5 These two vessels have been occluded and recanalized but otherwise the vessel wall is well preserved. Could this represent cord infarction by showers of emboli? It is likely that the sudden onset of lower extremity paresis and bowel and bladder incontinence that the patient experienced in August, 2008 (i.e., several months before his death) is attributable to these lesions.
