Case 2 History ---- This 71 year old man had prostatic hypertrophy, cystitis and incipient renal failure accompanied by a craniopharyngioma. Although he had a number of episodes of confusion and aphasia, the precise timing of the associated subacute infarct is unclear and is included for its histologic features. ---- Gross image of the untreated craniopharyngioma in situ and its relationship to adjacent vasculature.
