8C2-4 The area identified in image #8C1 is shown at several magnifications. It is clear that cortex in the depths of the sulcus shows substantial eosinophilic neuronal necrosis and early changes in endothelial prominence accompanied by early macrophage response, best seen in 8C4. (H&E)
