2A1,2 The frontal and parietal lobes show flattening and expansion of the gyri with obliteration of the sulci. The cortical mantle is dusky and soft to palpation with artefactual lacerations of the cerebral hemispheres. There is a slight amount of subarachnoid hemorrhage over the right parietal and temporal lobes.
