11A2,3 Close-up images of the lesion shows it consists of multiple arteriolosclerotic thickened vessels, expanded Virchow-Robin spaces and white matter pallor. The nature of this lesion is unclear. Is it a malformation, hypertensive change, arteriosclerotic small vessel disease or all three? (H&E)
