4A2,3 Higher magnification of two segments show marked intimal thickening, fibrinoid necrosis in the region of the intimal and medial junction. The mixed inflammatory infiltrate is composed of lymphocytes, plasma cells, macrophages, eosinophils, a few neutrophils, and scattered multinucleated giant cells. (H&E)
