2B1,2 A whole mount image of the leptomeningeal process which shows a damaged penetrating vessel projecting to an infarct. In general, leptomeningeal involvement appears to focus on individual vessels rather than being caught up in a process generally involving the subarachnoid space, a distinction with neurosarcoid.
