4B1,2 The inflammatory infiltrate forms a discrete small mass in the leptomeninges with relatively little trans pial invasion. Small vessel damage runs the gamut from hyalinized to necrotic vessels. In this case the vessels are caught up in the inflammation of the subarachnoid space without selective vasculopathic attack. (H&E)
