This coronal section shows numerous discolored areas, representing hemorrhages, infarcts and hemorrhagic infarcts as well as a hemorrhagic mass which may represent malformed vasculature. Notice the marked thinning of the corpus callosum as expected from cortical and subcortical white matter defects.
